As the artist behind "Soul Woman of Stars and Stone," my creative journey was fuelled by a deep longing for connection and a sense of belonging within the universe. This painting explores the divine feminine, celebrating the sacred connection between the cosmos, and Earth.

Soul Woman is adorned with an eagle wing headdress, she gazes towards the heavens, seeking answers and guidance from celestial bodies. Her eyes are filled with wonder and reverence, reflecting her strong connection to the natural world and her yearning to soar to great spiritual heights.

Seamlessly merged with the Soul Woman is the iconic Mount Wollumbin, symbolising our deep-rooted connection to the land and the harmonious balance between spiritual and physical realms. This majestic and spiritually significant landscape represents the grounding force of the earth and serves as a reminder of our profound connection to the land. The fusion of the Soul Woman and Mount Wollumbin signifies the inseparability of her spirit from the grace and wisdom of the earth.

Incorporating celestial and earthly elements, I actually make paints with stones and dirt to add a unique and authentic touch but also reinforces the deep relationship between the painting's subject matter and the materials used.
